M: I‘m from the U.S.

 

W: What do you usually write?

 

M: I‘m a short story writer. 

I have written about 300 short stories.

  

W: Wow! You‘re great!

What is special about your short stories?

  

M: They‘re well known for their surprise endings.

  

W: Can you recommend a popular story with a surprise ending?

  

M: Sure. I recommend The Last Leaf.

 

W: What is it about?

  

M: It‘s about a sick girl and an old artist who saves her life.

  

W: Oh, I want to read it. I can‘t wait.
