Hi, I’m Eddie Parker. I live in Dallas, Texas.

Now, my family and I are at the State Fair of Texas.

The fair is over 130 years old, and it’s the biggest fair in the USA.

Look at the goats here! This is a goat show.

여기 염소들을 봐! 이건 염소 쇼야.

 

My younger brother, Steve, entered it.

내 남동생 Steve가 이 쇼에 참가했어.

 

The goats in the show don’t have to be big, but they have to be healthy.

이 쇼의 염소들은 클 필요는 없지만, 건강해야 해.

 

They have to produce a lot of milk to win a prize.

Steve took good care of his goat, Bonnie.

Wow! Steve and Bonnie won a white ribbon, third prize!

I’m so proud of them!

Now, it’s lunch time, so we’re eating fair food.

Mom and Dad are eating nachos and fajitas.

They are Tex-Mex food.

Dad’s face is getting red because his fajita is too spicy.

Steve and I are eating corn dogs. They taste great.

Let’s move on to the quilt contest.

Quilting has a long tradition.

Look! It’s very colorful and unique.

The most exciting part of the day is riding the Texas Star.

오늘 가장 신나는 부분은 Texas Star를 타는 거야.

 

It’s a tall Ferris wheel.

그것은 높은 회전 관람차야.

 

Wow! Steve and I are now on the top.

우와! Steve와 나는 지금 꼭대기에 있어.

 

I’m scared, but the view is amazing!

나는 무섭긴 하지만, 전망이 멋져!

 

I love living in Texas and going to the fair.

나는 텍사스에 사는 것과 축제에 가는 것이 정말 좋아.
