Three Bottles, Three Lives

세 개의 병, 세 가지 삶

Today I’m going to talk about three plastic bottles.

오늘 저는 세 개의 플라스틱 병에 관해 이야기할 것입니다.

 

They all started together in a store.

그들은 모두 한 가게에서 함께 시작했어요.

 

But their lives were completely different.

하지만 그들의 삶은 완전히 달랐어요.

 

A man came and bought the first bottle.

한 남자가 와서 첫 번째 병을 샀어요.

 

After he drank the juice, he threw the bottle in a trash can.

그는 주스를 마신 후, 그 병을 쓰레기통에 버렸어요.

 

A truck took the bottle to a garbage dump.

트럭이 그 병을 쓰레기 폐기장으로 가져갔어요.

 

The bottle was with other smelly trash there.

그 병은 거기에서 다른 냄새나는 쓰레기들과 있었어요.

 

The bottle stayed on the trash mountain for a very long time.

그 병은 매우 오랫동안 그 쓰레기 산에 머물렀어요.

 

A woman bought the second bottle.

한 여자가 두 번째 병을 샀어요.

 

After she finished the juice, she threw the bottle on the street.

그녀는 주스를 마신 후, 그 병을 길에 버렸어요.

 

Soon, the rain came.

곧 비가 내렸어요.

 

The rain took the bottle to a river.

비는 그 병을 강으로 가져갔어요.

 

The river took the bottle to an ocean.

강은 그 병을 바다로 가져갔어요.

 

In the ocean, the bottle was with other plastic bottles.

바다에서 그 병은 다른 플라스틱 병들과 함께 있었어요.

 

This bottle stayed on the trash island forever.

이 병은 영원히 쓰레기 섬에 머물렀어요.

 

A little boy bought the third bottle.

한 남자아이가 세 번째 병을 샀어요.

 

The boy put the empty bottle in a recycling bin.

그 남자아이는 빈 병을 재활용통에 넣었어요.

 

A truck took the bottle to a plastic company.

트럭이 그 병을 플라스틱 회사로 가져갔어요.

 

The bottle became a pen.

그 병은 펜이 되었어요.

 

A man bought it and he gave it to his daughter.

한 남자가 그것을 사서 딸에게 줬어요.

 

Now it is her favorite pen!

이제 그것은 그녀가 가장 좋아하는 펜이에요!
