작은 창의적인 생각, 큰 변화

When you hear the word "creative," what comes to mind?

“창의적”이라는 말을 들으면 머릿속에 무엇이 떠오르는가?

 

You may think creative ideas are difficult and unusual.

창의적인 아이디어는 어렵고 특이한 것으로 생각할 수도 있다.

 

However, they can be all around us.

하지만 그것들은 우리 주변 곳곳에 있다.

 

Look at this picture.

이 그림을 보라.

 

 

There are many people on the subway.

지하철에 많은 사람들이 있다.

 

Some people are sitting on the seats, and some people are standing in front of them.

어떤 사람들은 의자에 앉아 있고, 어떤 사람들은 그들 앞에 서 있다.

 

Some of them look very uncomfortable.

그들 중 어떤 사람들은 매우 불편해 보인다.

 

Why do they feel uncomfortable?

왜 그들은 불편함을 느낄까?

 

Can you guess?

짐작할 수 있는가?

 

Here is a different picture.

여기 다른 그림이 있다.

 

There are many people on the subway, too.

마찬가지로 지하철에 많은 사람들이 있다.

 

But they all look comfortable.

하지만 그들은 모두 편안해 보인다.

 

What makes them comfortable?

무엇이 그들을 편하게 하는가?

 

What's the difference?

차이점은 무엇인가?

 

 

Can you see the orange heart stickers in front of the seats?

좌석 앞에 있는 오렌지색 하트 스티커가 보이는가?

 

When people sit on the seats, they can see the stickers.

사람들이 좌석에 앉으면 그들은 그 스티커를 볼 수 있다.

 

Then, they put their feet on them.

그러면 그들은 그 위에 발을 놓는다.

 

This way, people don't spread or cross their legs anymore.

이렇게 하여, 사람들이 더는 다리를 벌리거나 꼬지 않는다.

 

What about this picture?

이 그림은 어떤가?

 

There are many people at the bus stop.

버스 정류장에 많은 사람들이 있다.

 

They stand in line to wait for their bus.

그들은 버스를 기다리기 위해 줄을 서 있다.

 

Sometimes, the line is too long, and it makes the sidewalk crowded.

가끔, 줄이 너무 길어서 보도를 복잡하게 만든다.

 

So, when you pass through the crowd on the sidewalk, it may make you angry.

그래서 당신이 보도의 사람들 사이를 지나갈 때 화가 날 수 있다.

 

What can we do to solve this problem?

이 문제를 해결하기 위해 우리는 무엇을 할 수 있을까?

 

Do you have any ideas?

어떤 아이디어가 있는가?

 

Look at this picture.

이 그림을 보라.

 

There are square brackets and arrows on the sidewalk.

보도에 네모난 괄호와 화살표가 있다.

 

The brackets show the start and end of the lines, and there are arrows between the brackets.

괄호는 줄의 시작과 끝을 보여 주고, 괄호들 사이에는 화살표가 있다.

 

Now, everyone stands inside the brackets, and people can walk on the sidewalk easily.

이제, 모든 사람이 괄호 안에 서고, 사람들은 보도에서 쉽게 걸어 다닐 수 있다.

 

These ideas can teach us a lesson.

이 아이디어들은 우리에게 교훈을 가르쳐 준다.

 

Creative ideas can be simple and easy.

창의적인 아이디어는 간단하고 쉬울 수 있다.

 

But they can still make a big difference in our lives.

하지만 그런데도 그것들은 우리 삶에 큰 차이를 만들 수 있다.

 

Be a creative thinker.

창의적인 생각을 하는 사람이 되라.
