She is going to talk about a lemonade stand.

그녀는 레모네이드 가판대에 대해 말씀해 주실 겁니다.

Hello, everyone. I'd like to tell you a story about a little girl, Alex Scott.

안녕하세요, 여러분. 저는 알렉스 스콧이라는 어린 소녀에 대한 이야기를 여러분들께 전해드리려고 합니다. 

 

She got cancer before her first birthday.

그녀는 한 살이 되기도 전에 암에 걸렸습니다. 

 

She became an angel when she was just eight years old.

그녀는 불과 8살의 나이에 (이 세상을 떠나) 천사가 되었습니다.

 

This is not the whole story.

이것이 이야기의 전부는 아닙니다. 

 

One hot summer day, Alex suddenly had a bright idea.

어느 더운 여름날, Alex는 갑자기 기발한 생각을 하게 되었습니다. 

 

She said to her mom, "I want to have a lemonade stand and raise money for doctors.

그녀는 어머니에게, “저는 레모네이드 가판대를 열어 의사들을 위해 돈을 모으고 싶어요. 

 

I'll give them the money.

저는 그 돈을 그들에게 주겠어요. 

 

They can use it to find cancer cures for sick kids."

그들은 그것을 아픈 아이들을 위한 암 치료법을 찾는데 사용할 수 있잖아요.”라고 말했습니다. 

 

At that time, she was only four years old, and she ran her lemonade stand for four years.

그 당시 그녀의 나이는 겨우 4살이었고, 그녀는 4년 동안 레모네이드 가판대를 운영했습니다. 

 

Alex was little, but her dream was big.

Alex는 어렸지만, 그녀의 꿈은 컸습니다. 

 

She isn't with us now, but her dream still lives with us.

Now many people volunteer at lemonade stands every year, and I'm just one of them.
