My Food Adventure in Thailand

태국에서의 나의 음식 탐험

The Night Before the Trip

여행 전날 밤 

My dream is to become a cook.

나의 꿈은 요리사가 되는 것이다. 

 

Tomorrow, I am going to visit Thailand with my cousin and learn about Thai food.

나는 사촌과 함께 태국을 방문해서 태국의 음식에 대해서 배울 것이다. 

 

I am very excited about this trip.

내일, 나는 이번 여행에 매우 들떠 있다.

 

Bangkok

방콕 

At last, we arrived in Bangkok.

드디어, 우리는 방콕에 도착했다. 

 

We first checked in at a guesthouse on Khaosan Road and went to the Grand Palace.

우리는 먼저 카오산 로드에 있는 게스트하우스에서 투숙 절차를 밟고 대궁전(Grand Palace)에 갔다. 

 

The palace was very beautiful with many colorful buildings.

그 궁전은 많은 화려한 건물들이 있는 매우 아름다운 곳이었다. 

 

The next day, I attended a Thai cooking class for travelers.

다음날, 나는 여행자들을 위한 태국 요리 교실에 참여했다. 

 

First, we went to a local market and learned about Thai fruits and vegetables.

먼저, 우리는 현지 시장에 가서 태국의 과일과 채소에 대해 배웠다. 

 

I made som tam, spring rolls, and green curry in class.

나는 수업에서 쏨탐, 스프링 롤, 그리고 그린 카레를 만들었다. 

 

The chef said to me, "Good job! You are going to become a great cook!"

요리사는 나에게 말했다. “잘했어요! 당신은 훌륭한 요리사가 될 거예요!” 

 

I was very proud of myself.

나는 내 자신이 매우 자랑스러웠다.

 

Chiang Mai

치앙마이 

After a long bus ride from Bangkok, we arrived in Chiang Mai.

방콕에서부터 오랜 시간 버스를 탄 후에, 우리는 치앙마이에 도착했다. 

 

Chiang Mai is an exciting city with lots of fun activities.

치앙마이는 많은 재미있는 활동들을 할 수 있는 신나는 도시이다. 

 

During the day, we went hiking and visited hill tribes.

낮 동안에 우리는 등산하러 갔고 고산족들을 방문했다. 

 

In the evening, we tried different street foods.

저녁에 우리는 다양한 길거리 음식을 맛보았다. 

 

My favorite street food was pad Thai.

내가 가장 좋아한 길거리 음식은 팟타이였다. 

 

I wanted to cook it, and a friendly street food chef taught me.

나는 그것을 요리하고 싶었는데, 한 친절한 길거리 음식 요리사가 나에게 가르쳐 주었다. 

 

I was so lucky!

나는 정말 운이 좋았다! 

 

I will never forget my time in Thailand.

나는 태국에서의 시간을 결코 잊지 못할 것이다. 

 

It truly was my dream trip.

그것은 진정 나의 꿈의 여행이었다.
