Pigasso와 Shagull이 Mootiss를 만났을 때

Setting: A village in France

배경: 프랑스의 한 마을

 

Narrator: Pigasso, Mootisse, and Shagull were artists.

해설자: Pigasso, Mootisse 그리고 Shagull은 화가였습니다.

 

Pigasso painted unique and unusual pictures.

Pigasso는 독특하고 특이한 그림을 그렸습니다.

 

Mootisse painted bold and bright pictures.

Mootisse는 선명하고 밝은 그림을 그렸습니다.

 

Shagull painted mysterious and magical pictures.

Shagull은 신비하고 황홀한 그림을 그렸습니다.

 

They were good friends.

그들은 좋은 친구였습니다.

 

But sometimes they argued because they had different painting styles.

Pigasso: What do you think of my paintings?

Suddenly, Mootisse had an idea.

Mootisse: (Calling Shagull) Can you paint my mouth?

Mootisse: (Shagull에게 전화하며) 내 입을 그려 줄 수 있니?

 

Shagull: Sure.

Shagull: 물론이지.

Mootisse’s house

Mootisse의 집

 

Narrator: After a week, Mootisse got the paintings from his friends.

해설자: 일주일 후 Mootisse는 친구들로부터 그림을 받았습니다.

 

He put them together to make his own face.

그는 자신의 얼굴을 만들기 위하여 그것들을 합쳤습니다.

 

Then, he painted his eyes on it.

He invited his friends to his house the next day.

Mootisse: My eyes look bright because of me.

Pigasso, Shagull: 얼굴 전체가 아주 멋져 보여.

 

Mootisse: That’s right. We are all different but special!

Mootisse: 맞아. 우리는 모두 다르지만 특별해!

 

Pigasso, Shagull: Now, we understand the value of difference.

Pigasso, Shagull: 이제, 우리는 다름의 가치를 이해해.

 

Narrator: From that day on, they respected each other and became good friends again
