Jiho’s Family Camping Trip

지호의 가족 캠핑 여행

My family likes camping.

우리 가족은 캠핑을 좋아한다.

 

We sometimes go to a mountain or a beach.

우리는 종종 산이나 해변으로 캠핑을 간다.

 

Last week, my family went to Yeongwol.

지난주에 우리 가족은 영월에 갔다.

 

May 8

5월 8일

We arrived at the campground in the afternoon.

우리는 오후에 캠핑장에 도착했다.

 

Mom and my little brother put up the tent.

엄마와 내 남동생이 텐트를 설치했다.

 

I stepped into the stream.

나는 개울에 발을 담갔다.

 

The water was cold.

물은 차가웠다.

 

At night, we baked sweet potatoes in the campfire.

밤에 우리는 모닥불에 고구마를 구웠다.

 

My little brother’s face became black from the sweet potatoes.

내 남동생의 얼굴이 고구마 때문에 까맣게 되었다.

 

He looked funny.

그는 웃겨 보였다.

 

Stars filled the sky.

별들이 하늘을 채웠다.

 

I counted some of them, but soon stopped.

나는 별들을 세다가 곧 그만두었다.

 

There were too many stars.

별들이 매우 많이 있었다.

 

They were very bright.

별들은 매우 밝았다.

5월 9일

The next morning we left for Seonam Village.

다음 날 아침 우리는 선암 마을로 출발했다.

 

The village was amazing.

그 마을은 놀라웠다.

 

It looked like a map of Korea!

그것은 한국 지도처럼 보였다!

 

We took family photos in the village.

우리는 마을에서 가족사진을 찍었다.

 

In the afternoon, we enjoyed rafting on the Dong River.

오후에 우리는 동강에서 래프팅을 즐겼다.

 

“Watch out! Water is coming in,” Dad shouted.

“조심해! 물이 들어오고 있어!” 아빠가 소리치셨다.

 

We all got wet, but it was all right.

우리는 모두 물에 젖었지만 괜찮았다.

 

Rafting was cool and the scenery was beautiful.

래프팅은 멋졌고 경치는 아름다웠다.

 

Our next family camping trip is one month away.

우리의 다음 가족 캠핑은 한 달 뒤다.

 

I am already excited!

나는 벌써 신이 난다!
